三、主讲嘉宾:
- 潘忠党:威斯康星大学传播艺术系教授。Zhongdang Pan(Professor of in the Department of Communication Arts, member of the Center for East Asian Studies, affiliated professor in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at University of Wisconsin-Madison). Pan’s research is on news media and its effects on political processes. A significant area-focus has been on China’s media changes and their relationships with democratic changes. He has conducted in-depth interviews and surveys in China. His work in China has led to collaboration with scholars at Fudan University in Shanghai, Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, and Renmin University in Beijing. He is currently analyzing data from a nationwide omnibus survey in China that covers people’s uses of the media, penetration and uses of the Internet, and the emergence of civic culture.
- 乔纳森·格雷:威斯康星大学传播艺术系教授。Jonathan Gray(Professor in the Department of Communication Arts at University of Wisconsin-Madison). Gray’s research examines the cultural and political value and uses of entertainment media. In particular, he has conducted research into parody and satire, examining them textually but also engaging ethnographically with their audiences. He is author of Watching with The Simpsons: Television, Parody, and Intertextuality, and co-editor of Satire TV: Politics and Comedy in the Post-Network Era. Gray has increasingly been asking questions of how satire and parody work globally, and is also supplementing his analysis of the value and meaning of such forms of expression with functional questions about how they circulate, and what these modes of official and grassroots distribution (or resistance to distribution) tell us about their political potential and status.
- 刘易斯·弗里德兰:威斯康星大学新闻与大众传播学院教授。Lewis A. Friedland(Vilas Associate Professor in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication and an affiliated professor in the Department of Sociologyat University of Wisconsin-Madison). He is co-author with Carmen Sirianni, of Civic Innovation in America (2001) and several other books. He has also published on international communication, including Covering the World: International Television News Services (1991), one of the earliest studies of the emerging world satellite news system and has written on media coverage of China.
- 杨国斌:宾夕法尼亚大学安娜伯格传播学院副教授。Guobin Yang (Associate Professor of Communication and Sociology in the Annenberg School for Communication and Department of Sociology at the University of Pennsylvania).
