2019年11月,我院组织博士研究生赴新加坡南洋理工大学举办博士生双边学术研讨会,取得了良好的交流效果。基于去年的成功经验,我院将于2020年10月16、17日围绕“媒体与传播”议题,再次举办线上博士生双边研讨会,邀请南洋理工大学黄金辉传播与信息学院的知名学者开设线上讲座课程、点评博士研究生的学术论文汇报。

Prof Lu Wei
Dean of CMIC
Dr. Lu Wei is a Professor and the Dean of the College of Media and International Culture at Zhejiang University, and Chang Jiang Scholars Distinguished Young Professor. His research interests include new media communication, international communication and political communication.

Asst Prof Siyue Li
Siyue (April) Li is a 'Hundred Talents Program' Assistant Professor at Zhejiang University. Before joining ZJU, she was an assistant professor at the Ohio State University. She received her master's degree in Communication from Michigan State University and her doctoral degree in Communication from University of California at Davis.

Prof Richard Seyler Ling
Rich Ling (PhD, University of Colorado in 1984) is the Shaw Foundation Professor of Media Technology, Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He has focused his work on the social consequences of mobile communication. He was a professor at the IT University of Copenhagen, where he has served in Department management and he works at Telenor near Oslo, Norway. Ling has been the Pohs visiting professor of communication studies (2005) at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where he has an adjunct position.
Assoc Prof Edson C Tandoc Jr.
Edson C. Tandoc Jr. (Ph.D., University of Missouri) is an Associate Professor at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. He is also an Associate Editor of Digital Journalism, the Chair of the Newspaper and Online News Division (NOND) of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC), and the incoming Secretary of the Journalism Studies Division of the International Communication Association (ICA).
Assoc Prof Jung Younbo
Dr. Younbo Jung is Associate Professor and Associate Chair - Academic at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Dr. Jung earned his B.A. and M.A. degree in Telecommunication at Michigan State University and his Ph.D. at the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California.

Asst Prof Chen Lou
Dr. Lou's research focuses on consumer psychology and advertising effects. From this perspective, she has investigated how consumers process information and the mechanisms through which marketing communications affect consumer behavior. Generally, her research utilizes information processing as a central mechanism to explicate the role of marketing communication experiences in consumer behavior.
Asst Prof Hye Kyung Kim
Dr. Hye Kyung (Kay) Kim is an Assistant Professor in the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI). She was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, where she completed her undergraduate education in Advertising and Public Relations. She received a Master’s degree in Public Relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, Syracuse University, and a Ph.D. in Communication from Cornell University. Before joining Cornell, she worked as a research executive at TNS Korea, a market research agency.
